These terms apply to all services provided by 1300FINDLEAK L.L.C FZ, trading as 1300 FINDLEAK UAE ("we", "us"). By booking an inspection you agree to these terms.
We provide non-invasive leak detection and moisture investigation using methods such as thermal imaging, acoustic listening, tracer gas, moisture mapping, CCTV drain cameras and pressure testing. Our service is to investigate and report on the likely source of a leak. Repairs are not included unless agreed and quoted separately in writing.
You are responsible for giving us safe access to the property and to any areas we need to test, including neighbouring units, risers, plant rooms or roofs, and for arranging any building management permits or approvals. If we cannot access the property at the booked time, or the visit cannot go ahead for reasons outside our control, a charge may apply.
Please give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be charged.
Leak detection involves professional judgement. While we use appropriate equipment and methods, some leaks are intermittent, very small or hidden in ways that cannot be confirmed without opening up building elements. Our report states our findings and opinion based on the testing carried out on the day. Payment is for the investigation and is not dependent on a leak being found.
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or damage caused by the leak itself, and our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and the relevant emirate. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts or authorities.
